Maintenance Technician

Your duties will include diagnosing faults, performing **preventive maintenance** , and providing **technical support** to junior technicians. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Mechanical & Electrical Systems Maintenance** + **Install, maintain, and repair mechanical components** such as gears, conveyors, bearings, and **EOT cranes** . + Troubleshoot and repair **electrical systems** , including wiring, switches, control panels, and **PLCs** (programmable logic controllers). + **Preventive Maintenance** + **Perform regular preventive maintenance** tasks to ensure the reliability and functionality of mechanical and electrical systems. + Conduct equipment inspections, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime. + **Team Collaboration** + **Work with engineering and maintenance teams** to install and modify equipment. + Provide **technical support** and guidance to **junior technicians** and apprentices. + **Safety & Compliance** + **Adhere to safety protocols** and ensure compliance with **OSHA** safety and health regulations. + Maintain a safe work area through proper housekeeping practices. + **Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair** + **Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic** , **pneumatic systems** , compressors, and pumps. + Diagnose malfunctioning **mechanical** , **hydraulic** , and **electrical systems** using hand tools and test equipment. + **Technical Documentation** + **Maintain accurate logs of completed tasks, inspections, and repairs in both written** and **computerized formats** . **Essential Skills & Qualifications:** + **Mechanical Expertise** + **Experience with processing equipment** such as **pumps** , **screw conveyors** , **hydraulic systems** , **agitators** , and **valves** . + Repair experience with **heavy equipment** including **forklifts** , **loaders** , and **construction vehicles** . + **Electrical Systems Knowledge** + **Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems** , including **PLCs** and **3-phase electrical systems** . + Ability to read and interpret **technical drawings** , **blueprints** , and **electrical schematics** . + **Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems** + **Knowledge of maintaining and repairing hydraulic** and **pneumatic systems** , including compressors, pumps, and gearboxes. + **Tool Proficiency** + **Experience with hand and power tools for assembly, repair, and diagnostics, including multi-meters** and **pipe benders** . + **Communication Skills** + **Clear communication skills for documenting tasks and providing training** to junior staff. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + **Welding experience** is a plus. + Familiarity with **OSHA regulations** and compliance. + **Experience with material handling equipment** such as **forklifts** , **EOT cranes** , **overhead cranes** , and **aerial lifts** . + Ability to assemble, install, and maintain **diesel/gas engines** , **hydraulic motors** , and other specialized equipment. **Why Join Us?** + **Innovative Work Environment:** + **Join a pioneering company** in the **construction industry** , recognized for its **cutting-edge precast and prestressed concrete products** .
