As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. Your responsibilities will include detecting hazards, addressing performance issues, and maintaining electrical, electronic, and mechanical components. You will collaborate with technical staff to discuss improvements, interpret schematics, and assemble prototype models based on engineering instructions.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor equipment to identify hazards, issues, and necessary repairs or replacements.Collaborate with technical staff to discuss performance and improvement ideas.Interpret and understand electronic, electrical, and mechanical schematics; create sketches to clarify design details.Assemble experimental circuitry or prototype models following engineering instructions and technical manuals.Recommend changes to simplify assembly and maintenance processes.Troubleshoot and repair solid-state motor drives, temperature controllers, and computer-based controllers.Set up and use test apparatus to evaluate the performance and reliability of prototypes or production models.Analyze and interpret data from troubleshooting equipment.Adjust, calibrate, and align circuitry and components, recording the effects on performance.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years' experience in a PLC or Maintenance Mechanic role within an industrial environment.Strong engineering and technical skills, including proficiency in PLC, electrical, and mechanical systems.Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.Proficiency with electrical test instrumentation.Excellent communication skills for working with plant personnel and vendors.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Understanding of continuous improvement methods.Computer skills (MS Office, HMI, Control Logic).Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming/troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaintain backups of programs from all electrical devices.Evaluate the performance of newly installed equipment under actual operating conditions.Obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses.Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work area.Why Work Here?Attendance Incentive: Earn $250 towards tires for perfect attendance over a year.ESL Program: Available for Spanish speakers.Onsite Amenities: Gym, showers, and an affordable cafeteria.Comprehensive Benefits: Begin on the first day of the month after 30 days of employment. Pay and Benefits
