**Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
This position requires a dedicated individual to field radio calls and troubleshoot issues that may arise. The role operates on the 1st shift from 4:30 AM to 6:30 AM with flexible start times, working 8-10 hour days. Some weekend or overtime work may be required based on production needs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Field radio calls to troubleshoot issues.
+ Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on automated assembly lines.
+ Conduct repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ Maintain and repair equipment as needed to ensure optimal production efficiency.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ 2-year degree in industrial maintenance.
+ Proficiency in repair, electrical work, troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in preventative and emergency maintenance on automated assembly lines.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large automotive supplier of hub assemblies and brakes for axles of heavy equipment, such as large trucks. The manufacturing process includes press brakes, welding, and fabrication. This role operates on the 3rd shift from Monday to Friday, either from 10 PM to 6:30 AM or from 8 PM to 6:30 AM, depending on whether 8-hour or 10-hour shifts are being run.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frankfort, Kentucky.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
