**Job Title: Maintenance Technician $31.58/hr (Weekly Pay)** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at our dairy plant. This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The technician will assist in maintaining plant machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure efficient plant operations while adhering to health and safety standards. **Responsibilities** + Assist in the daily maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment (pumps, conveyors, compressors, etc.). + Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition and identify potential issues before they become major problems. + Follow all plant safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. + Support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and resolving electromechanical issues. + Maintain and repair dairy production systems such as pasteurization and packaging equipment. + Complete preventative maintenance as needed. + Maintain accurate records of activities, work completed, and inventory used. + Participate in training sessions to stay up to date with equipment technology and maintenance practices. + Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed to minimize downtime. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Basic mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment. + Willingness to work assigned hours. + Willingness to work holidays as required. + Ability to lift and move up to 50lb, and perform physical tasks related to the maintenance of equipment. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $31.58 - $31.58/hr.
