**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, tear down and re-assemble, and provide predictive and preventive maintenance services. The role involves assisting in the construction of machines for manufacturing production, providing emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. **Responsibilities** + Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, tear down and re-assemble, and predictive and preventive maintenance services. + Assist in the construction of machines for manufacturing production. + Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service. + Schedule and prioritize work according to urgency and work orders. + Identify safety issues with machines, document issues, support in creating an action plan to resolve concerns, and follow-up to ensure problems are resolved. + Monitor electrical and mechanical systems, call appropriate resources for maintenance and support when necessary. + Coordinate with Facilities and Maintenance Manager and Production Manager to schedule maintenance for machines. + Perform all necessary paperwork and computer transactions, maintenance, and update logs as necessary. + Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment and provide general maintenance repairs of office and building, and repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment. **Skills:** + Mechanical and light electrical work. + Ability to use ladders and work comfortably from different heights. + Open to cross training + Basic understanding of building maintenance. + Schematics and blueprints. + Hand and power tools. + Skills to diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments. + Ability to work under challenging conditions. + Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. + Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. + Experience in HVAC, plumbing, preventive maintenance, welding, fabricating, troubleshooting, mechanical, pneumatics, painting, and repair. **Work Environment** + Regular exposure to pollen and bumblebees with the possibility of bee stings. + The role requires working independently with little supervision and seasonal overtime may be required. + The work environment includes exposure to hot or cold conditions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Oxnard, California. **Contact:** Alexis **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
