Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance for all machinery in the plant. Machinery and equipment will include rollers, conveyors, corrugators, slicers, benders, gear boxes, motors, panels, and more. Work will include a mix of responding to repair calls to troubleshoot breakdowns as well as following a preventative maintenance schedule. Electrical work will consist of motor swaps, AC, DC, sensors, contactors, relays, and wiring. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant machinery including rollers, conveyors, corrugators, slicers, benders, gear boxes, motors, panels, and more. + Respond to repair calls to troubleshoot and fix machinery breakdowns. + Follow and execute a preventative maintenance schedule. + Conduct electrical work including motor swaps, handling AC and DC systems, sensors, contactors, relays, and wiring. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Electrical + Mechanical + Hydraulics + Repair + Preventive maintenance + Reading schematics and blueprints + Industrial maintenance + Electrical troubleshooting + 3-phase systems + Gear box maintenance + Sensor and contactor handling + Relay and wiring skills + Motor control + AC and DC systems **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + MUST have experience with troubleshooting in an industrial maintenance setting, seeking at least 2 years. + MUST have experience with preventative maintenance. + Electrical experience is preferred but not required; candidates with a strong industrial mechanic experience will be considered. **Why Work Here?** This position is a short contract to hire (90 days) with the potential for a permanent position at the end. The work environment is a standard production setting with no air conditioning, resulting in hot conditions during the summer and heated conditions in the winter. The facility features a large open floor plan with large corrugating machines. The environment is well-lit, and the machinery is maintained clean compared to other facilities. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.78 - $34.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
