**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair production and facilities equipment and services. This role involves both scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and unscheduled repairs, ensuring all activities are documented accurately. The successful candidate will use a variety of hand and power tools, comply with safety and security protocols, and maintain clean and orderly work areas. The role may require local travel and coordination with external maintenance services.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install and maintain production and facilities equipment and services, including doors/locks/security systems, lab cleanup, HVAC, rooftop ventilation/exhaust fans, plumbing, and electrical systems.
+ Perform unscheduled repairs of production and facilities equipment.
+ Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks for production and facilities equipment and maintain accurate records of all activities.
+ Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, and other instruments in performing duties.
+ Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
+ Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
+ Perform maintenance from elevated platforms.
+ Handle local pickup/delivery and errands using personal or company vehicle.
+ Coordinate with external maintenance services, as required.
+ Travel to and perform all of the above tasks as needed at our York facility.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 2+ years' experience in maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Experience with electrical 120/220v 1 Phase and 3 Phase simple circuit wiring.
+ Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Adaptable to varying facility needs and a fast-paced environment.
+ Good communication skills.
+ Valid license and clean driving record.
+ Ability to work at elevated heights.
+ Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 25-50 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Good organizational skills.
+ Computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).

**Work Environment**
Clean, well-lit shop with 30+ manufacturing floor employees. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, a clean shirt, and steel-toe shoes. The facility is not fully climate-controlled. The shift is Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with some voluntary overtime on Fridays from 6 am to 12 noon. There may also be Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts at times to offset production and complete downtime maintenance.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
