MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

FULL TIME - CROWN POINT LOCATION

Under general supervision and according to accepted procedures and standards, performs routine and complex tasks associated with industrial technologies including construction, plumbing, electrical, maintenance, and general mechanics to provide the hospital with safe and reliable structures, systems, and equipment consistent with requirements in local, state and federal codes and regulations.  May specialize in the performance of a particular task but may be required to assist in other capacities due to variations in workload and staffing.

 

Education/Experience:

Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a 1 year post-secondary technical certificate or apprenticeship. Two to three years of experience in industrial maintenance in a healthcare or hospitality setting
