**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Performs preventative maintenance, normal maintenance, and emergency and normal repairs on plant equipment including conveyors, slicing, labelling, and packaging equipment. Fabricates and installs various pieces of equipment and rebuilds equipment as necessary including machining and fabricating. Performs pipe fitting, plumbing, electrical, electronic installations and repairs with other mechanics. Ensures all tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner, while ensuring quality product production and continuous improvement. This position also has accountability for Q-RMP standards. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative and normal maintenance on plant equipment. + Repair and maintain conveyors, slicing, labelling, and packaging equipment. + Fabricate, install, and rebuild equipment as necessary. + Conduct pipe fitting, plumbing, electrical, and electronic installations and repairs. + Ensure all tasks are performed safely and efficiently. + Ensure the production of quality products and continuous improvement. + Adhere to Q-RMP standards as outlined in the accountability document. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. + Experience in electrical maintenance up to 480v. + Mechanical maintenance expertise. + PLC troubleshooting skills. + Hydraulics and pneumatics experience. + Experience with replacing and repairing motors, gear boxes, and photo eyes. + Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures. + Experience with 24v hoppers and drop buckets. + Heat sealers and conveyors maintenance. + Ability to complete work orders and assist in other areas as needed. + Effective communication between shifts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Military background in electrical and mechanical maintenance. + Electrician certification. + Welding skills. + Experience in a food and beverage facility. + Preventive maintenance experience. + Industrial maintenance proficiency. + Blueprint reading skills. + Knowledge of wiring, gearboxes, and multimeters. + Experience with 3 phase wiring. + Electrical troubleshooting skills. + Ability to use electrical test equipment. + Familiarity with high voltage electrical panels and equipment. + Arc, TIG, and MIG welding capabilities. + Knowledge of lathes and milling machine operations. + Ability to read calipers and micrometers. + Capability to change, repair, and wire electrical motors operating on 480/220 volts, 3 phase power. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and health insurance. The maintenance team offers a training room to refresh and enhance skills on electrical and mechanical issues. **Work Environment** This position is in a GMP environment, requiring proper PPE including hair nets, beard nets, non-slip shoes, and safety glasses. Shifts are Monday through Friday with occasional overtime, primarily during the busy season from July to the end of the year. Available shifts are: 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) and 3rd shift (10:30 pm - 7:00 am). The plant is temperature-controlled, mostly around 50 degrees, and specific areas are refrigerated. Proper attire includes hair nets, hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe shoes, and smocks. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Massillon, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00/hr.
