Maintenance Technician
**Hiring Maintenance Technicians!** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair on Material Handling Systems within a fully automated fulfillment services distribution center. This role involves PLC troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and acting as a liaison for internal and external resources. The ideal candidate must possess strong project management skills, effective communication abilities, be self-directed, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair on Material Handling Systems. + Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis on PLC systems. + Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical equipment and components including 3-phase motors, 480v. + Work with integrated systems with PLCs, including Allen Bradley PLCs. + Troubleshoot and repair high-speed automated sorting machines, VFDs, photo eyes, sensors, robotic equipment, and gantry cranes. + Manage and maintain 30 miles of conveyors, 4 sorters, and 12 cranes. + Develop and update PLC PM programs using TMI Systems software. + Act as a liaison for internal and external resources and be on call as needed. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or distribution equipment maintenance. + Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems using PLCs for automation. + High school diploma. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair, and conducting root cause analysis. + Experience with PLCs, servos, VFDs, sensors, conveyors, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, repair, mechanical systems, hand tools, blueprint reading, and schematic diagrams. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs. + Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively. + Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced distribution center environment. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced automation systems in a climate-controlled environment. The team consists of 30 multi-craft technicians at different levels (General, PLC, and Master Technicians). The culture emphasizes teamwork, quality, and reliability. The dress code includes steel toe boots, jeans, and a plain shirt. Available shifts include: 1 Technician position (10pm-8:30am, Wednesday through Saturday), 1 General Technician night shift (10pm-8:30am, Wednesday through Saturday), and 1 General Technician second shift (2pm-12:30am, Wednesday through Saturday). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waxahachie, Texas **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
