Job Description
The maintenance technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in accordance with electrical diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications. This role requires performing root-cause analysis for all mechanical and electrical equipment and demands advanced skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
ResponsibilitiesPerform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment such as motors, pneumatic, conveyor, blending, scaling, filling, cartooning, coding/printing, electrical, compressed air, vacuum hydraulic, and bulk-filling systems.Troubleshoot mechanical systems related to production and plant support equipment ranging from single phase to three phase equipment along with voltages ranging from 5VDC – 480 VAC.Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layouts.Troubleshoot electrical wiring, relay logic, control and safety circuits.Troubleshoot electronic boards, PLCs, touch screens, displays, contactors, and motors.Use and read a volt meter, amp meter, ohm meter, and other electrical testing equipment needed for the facility.Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to power transmissions, chain and belt drives, cams, bearings, and actuators.Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic controls and components.Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting.Teardown and rebuild gearboxes, clutches, actuators, and other assemblies related to equipment repairs.Proficiently use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment such as drill press, surface grinders, torch, plasma cutter, pipe threader, breaks, presses, calipers, micrometers, other measuring instruments, and test equipment.Fabricate parts, guarding, and parts modifications for equipment repairs and improvements, including MIG/TIG welding.Essential SkillsAdvanced skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshootingExperience with PLCsAbility to interpret blueprints and electrical schematicsExperience with manufacturing maintenanceProficiency in using electrical testing equipmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the Food & Beverage industryManufacturing Maintenance Lead experienceFabrication skills including MIG/TIG weldingKnowledge of relay logic, actuators, and gearboxesWhy Work Here?

This role operates within a food and beverage work environment, requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets, and other protective gear. The environment may involve wet and/or humid conditions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00/yr.
