Job Description
Job Summary: Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic tools, electric components, electronic systems, and sensors. This role involves working with production machines and equipment, including press brakes, turrets, lasers, and panel benders.
ResponsibilitiesObserve production systems and equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and make repairs.Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts.Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.Repair or replace defective parts and clean parts.Start devices to test their performance and make adjustments as necessary.Discuss and coordinate repairs with peers to ensure optimal production schedules.Modify work schedule as necessary to make repairs and maintain critical equipment.Communicate and coordinate with factory service providers for efficient equipment maintenance and repairs.Install new equipment and move existing equipment based on business needs.Set up and operate drill press, grinder, welder, and other metalworking tools to fabricate and repair parts.Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, PLC, and hydraulic issues on production equipment and facilities-related equipment.Keep accurate maintenance and preventative maintenance records and ensure all revisions to equipment and tools are recorded.Determine equipment/parts needed for repair and work with the Supply Chain department for purchases.Utilize the CMMS module in the ERP system.Keep shop and work area neat and orderly.Solve practical problems using past experience and logic.Make general repairs to building and grounds.Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Respond to chemical spill incidents involving hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, including containment, cleanup, and disposal.Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting on manufacturing machinesUnderstanding of how jobs flow through a production environmentExperience with electrical, hydraulics, and pneumaticsMachine maintenanceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with press brake maintenanceExperience with turret maintenanceWhy Work Here?

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
Dalsin offers health benefits, a wellness program, 401k match, profit sharing and a bonus program.
Dalsin matches 3% when the employee contributes 6%.
Safety shoe and safety goggle reimbursement: $125 safety shoe reimbursement and $150 every two years for safety goggles.
