Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a large manufacturing facility specializing in parts for the automotive and high-end kitchen appliance industries. Our company is also expanding into the Government and Military sectors. This role involves performing routine and preventative maintenance on various plant equipment, troubleshooting issues, and implementing upgrades.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment including presses, CNC machines, furnaces, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and fork trucks.Troubleshoot and diagnose real-time issues with plant equipment.Work with a significant amount of automated equipment within the plant.Find ways to rebuild and upgrade plant equipment.Read and work from blueprints and electrical schematics.Use a laptop to access PLCs for monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.Essential Skills5 years of industrial maintenance experience.Experience in maintenance, automation, and electrical troubleshooting.Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, and CNC equipment.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic working on machines, plant equipment, furnaces, presses, CNC machines, etc.Tech school training is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our large facility spans 400,000 sq. ft. and employs around 700 people. The work environment is loud and can be dirty. Office and outdoor elements are minimal (0-25%), while time spent in the plant is significant (75-100%). We operate on three shifts: 1st shift (6:30 am - 2:30 pm), 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm), and 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am), Monday through Friday. Every third weekend work is required, with the goal of moving to every fourth weekend once positions are filled.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

$1 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd
As much OT as you want - up to 60 hours. Need to get it approved by their Supervisor the week before.
1.5 after 40 hours and double time after 48

Annual reviews: Roughly 3-5%
Reviews: 30, 60, 90 and then when they're hired (Roughly 3% raise)
Step program: Get paid for learning new departments (outside of CNC), could be anywhere from .25 to a dollar. 6 steps through the progressions. Anywhere from 6 months to a couple of years doing trainings and classes.
