Job Description
You will be responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventive maintenance and full maintenance repair for building equipment and production lines. You will support the PM program by suggesting ways to shorten downtime and perform mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs on production machines, validating solutions with engineers. Additionally, you will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring solutions are documented and completed accurately. You will assist with changeovers and line start-ups, as well as handle parts ordering and communicate with vendors and outsource water line teams.

Work Environment
You will work in a GMP environment with 3-4 production lines, including herring, smoked salmon, fresh salmon, and ready-to-eat food lines. As part of a 2-man maintenance team, you will be the third member. Please note that there may be a fishy smell, but masks can be worn due to GMP requirements.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, Illinois.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
Union 399 - health, medical and dental. pention will be given to employees. They will also have quarterly bonuses and privately held perks.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Chicago,IL.
