The Maintenance Technician's duties:
Maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment required for daily operation for the Distribution Center Provide general maintenance for the Distribution Center Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance Review equipment/facility, making recommendations for changes and additions that will improve operations Performs other tasks and duties as assigned in an efficient, effective, and cost-conscious manner. Complying with all company policies, rules, and regulationsQualifications include:
High School diploma or equivalent Experience in electrical, mechanical, and/or welding Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices Excellent attendance record Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management Attention to detail essential Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain records accurately Demonstrated ability to prioritize work Must be a team player with a can-do attitude Power Equipment certification a plus Must have industrial maintenance degree or 2 years experience in a comparable position including high speed conveyor and sortation, equipment troubleshooting Must be able to work any shift and weekends when required Be able to work at heights safely Background in mechanical, electrical knowledge of conveyors Be able to operate and diagnose issues with electrical and propane power equipmentOrgill, Inc. offers a competitive benefits package after 30 days of employment.
