Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician ensures the proper operation, safety, and upkeep of senior housing facilities by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. This role also supervises junior maintenance staff and ensures compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on building systems.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.

Maintain common areas, perform minor repairs, and uphold safety standards.

Supervise and train junior maintenance staff.

Manage inventory, document maintenance activities, and report issues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training preferred).

2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential or senior housing.

Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Relevant certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.

Valid driver’s license required.
