**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility-related equipment in compliance with all safety procedures. Support the installation of new equipment and implementation of a preventive maintenance program. Assist machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime. Ensure all repairs are documented and keep management informed of any maintenance issues. Complete work orders as assigned. Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive. Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. Exhibit the values and ethics of the company through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment. Adhere to all Quality, Safety, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity. Attend required training, including but not limited to Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF). The work schedule includes on-call and weekend shifts.
**Responsibilities**

+ Attend required training sessions.
+ Work on-call and weekend shifts as required.
**Essential Skills**
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
+ Knowledge of machine shop equipment.
+ Understanding of pneumatics, solenoid valves, and air cylinders.
+ Proficient computer usage.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively and foster teamwork.
+ Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
+ Capability to perform preventative, productive, predictive, and scheduled maintenance.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Understanding of basic plant controls and their impact on processes.
+ Minor electrical work skills, including changing pump motors and diagnosing motor control problems.
+ Proficiency with standard maintenance tools.
+ Experience with routine repairs and minor projects from planning to installation.
+ Capability to perform routine preventive maintenance and identify abnormal conditions.
+ Basic welding skills for repair and fabrication (mig/tig/stick).
+ Ability to follow process control computer variables, schematics, and diagnose system problems.
+ Ability to assist other mechanics on complex repairs safely and effectively.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
