**Maintenance Technician** **Pay: $30-32/ hr** **Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift available** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for performing maintenance on converting and paper machines, including troubleshooting conveyors and printing presses. The technician will replace and rewire AC/DC motors, change gear boxes and bearings, repair hydraulic systems, perform MIG welding on steel, and troubleshoot PLCs. Additional tasks include fabricating parts, ordering parts, and receiving work orders through a CMMS. **Responsibilities** + Perform maintenance on converting and corrugating machines + Troubleshoot conveyors and printing presses + Replace and rewire AC/DC motors from 480V to 2140V + Change gear boxes and bearings + Repair hydraulic systems, change filters and fluids, repair brake systems + Perform MIG welding on steel materials + Troubleshoot drives and PLCs + Fabricate parts using drill presses and torches + Order parts and receive work orders through CMMS **Essential Skills** + Electrical knowledge up to 480V 3 Phase with 24V Circuitry + Experience with mechanical work on industrial bearings, conveyors, or automated equipment + Ability to read schematics + Troubleshooting of automated equipment + High School Diploma or GED + At least 2-3 years of experience in the maintenance field + Own tools + PLC knowledge - reading inputs/outputs **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr. • Insurance benefits and wellness reimbursement program within ONE MONTH of hire • Paid holidays from Day 1 • 3 Months: 401(k) with match • 6 Months: PAID vacation days • 12 Months: FULL tuition reimbursement and PAID childbearing and parenting leave **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Valparaiso,IN. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Mar 12, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
