Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Shift: 1st & 3rd** **Pay: $23/hr** **Job Description** This position reports to the Facility/Maintenance Engineer and will provide expertise with high-speed production equipment, power transmissions, variable speed drives, servos, basic I/O, machine control, and PLC’s. The Maintenance Technician also contributes a wide range of maintenance support to their shift and on weekends with special emphasis on production lines and processing equipment. **Responsibilities** + Provide preventative support on bakery equipment, simple to complex in nature. + Make adjustments to machines such as mixers, ovens, proofers, fillers, labelers, case packers, and palletizers to maximize uptime. + Perform preventative maintenance according to company guidelines. + Provide technical support on production equipment as needed to ensure that lines are in operation at all times. + Participate in the coordination and completion of capital projects that maximize the capacity of the facility. Work with contractors/vendors to complete projects. + Perform technical problem-solving and troubleshooting for all equipment and processes. + Overhaul and/or replace equipment parts and motors as needed. Perform technical tasks involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and some welding. + Complete Work Orders in accordance with company guidelines on the second shift. + Plan and complete the P.M. Program and other maintenance-related programs. **Essential Skills** + Experience with PLCs, mechanical systems, preventive maintenance, and repair. + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, industrial and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance repair, motors, and industrial maintenance. + Experience with electrical maintenance, plumbing, fabrication, HVAC, and mechanical troubleshooting. + Proficiency in welding and maintenance of variable speed drives, servos, and machine control. + Knowledge of FDA regulations and standards. + Experience with 3-phase electrical systems and machine repair. + Strong adherence to OSHA and safety standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience installing and changing a wide variety of equipment. + Proven competence in team-based environments. Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced business production environment. + Willingness to work days or nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. + Strong organizational skills to set priorities. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Prior food production experience is helpful. + Knowledge of all GMPs which comply with FDA standards. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive medical benefits after 90 days with no premium cost for single or family plans. The work schedule follows a 2-2-3 pattern, alternating every two weeks. Shifts include 3 days on 3rd shift (6 PM - 6 AM) and 2 days on 1st shift (6 AM - 6 PM). **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr.
