**Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with the expertise and professionalism to perform exceptionally well with minimal guidance in a manufacturing environment. This position requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and management. The role reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and involves assisting in the daily activities of plant and machinery maintenance. Tasks will be completed as assigned and under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and committed to safe maintenance practices to minimize plant costs and production downtime. This highly skilled role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment used in our manufacturing processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial equipment.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
+ Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand or power tools.
+ Test electro-mechanical assemblies using testing instruments.
+ Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
+ Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair AC motors, PLCs, and electrical controls.
+ Work with industrial electronic and control systems, machine and motor control systems, and logic panels.
+ Maintain knowledge of air compressors, pneumatic, hydraulic, chilled water, and related equipment.
+ Wire weld, operate a plasma cutter, and use an oxyacetylene torch.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong mix of maintenance and electrical experience.
+ Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
+ Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
+ Knowledge of LOTO procedures.
+ Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
+ Ability to work off the floor in a scissor lift, on a catwalk, or ladder.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with testing electro-mechanical assemblies.
+ Knowledge of air compressors, pneumatic, hydraulic, chilled water, and related equipment.
+ Ability to wire weld, operate a plasma cutter, and use an oxyacetylene torch.

We offer full benefits after 2 months of employment, including a month pay increase after going direct. We provide supplied PPE, misting fans throughout the facility to keep cool, and a very clean environment. Additionally, we offer a 3% 401k match for 100% and a 4-5% match up to 50%.
**Work Environment**
This position is available for 1st and 2nd shifts. The work environment is clean and equipped with misting fans to ensure a comfortable temperature.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Shelbyville, Kentucky.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
