**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on flavoring machinery and facility equipment. This role involves working collaboratively with other maintenance mechanics and specialists to carry out scheduled repairs on dry blend, spraying, reactors, extractors, and compounding machines. The position operates on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for weekend work.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform PM on equipment as outlined by the company manual.
+ Repair production equipment utilizing mechanical knowledge and printed repair manuals.
+ Assist in replacing production equipment.
+ Maintain a neat and orderly workplace and shop.
+ Maintain the building and grounds of the facility to management's required standards.
+ Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements for the operational area being repaired.
+ Maintain inventory of all tools.
+ Perform other duties as required by management.
+ Work with proper GMP, HACCP, Allergen, SSOP, and Safety guidelines.
+ Handle tasks involving 50% mechanical and 50% electrical work.
+ Work with 480 volts down and 3 phase motors.
+ Manage HVAC systems within a food processing company.
+ Ensure attention to detail within quality and follow lockout/tagout procedures within the food industry.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
+ Experience working with voltages up to 480 volts.
+ Proficiency in working on 3 phase motors.
+ Strong mechanical knowledge with some electrical skills.
+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Forklift repair experience.
+ Cherry picker repair experience.
+ Experience in the food/flavors industry.
+ Additional electrical experience.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $41.00/hr.
