Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician with experience in plastic injection molding maintenance to join our teamThis role involves working with the engineering and maintenance departments to repair, develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methodsThe candidate will troubleshoot and perform repairs on hydraulic and electric machines, robots, and secondary equipmentStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this positionResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain all plant equipment, buildings, and groundsObserve mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of troubleDismantle devices to remove defective partsAdjust functional parts of devices and control instrumentsUnderstand and adjust robot programming as neededTroubleshoot press and robot issues with Process TechniciansMaintain records in compliance with quality procedures and document activitiesComplete preventive maintenance and update PM logbooksFollow safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulationsComplete repairs on hydraulic systems, HVAC, conveyors, and pneumatic circuitsTroubleshoot electrical issues and perform wiring/re-wiringDevelop and manufacture poke-yoke/alarm systemsTroubleshoot and repair machinery and control systemsTroubleshoot and repair automated equipment, including Sensors, Servo controls, Power supplies, VFDs, I/O cards, Relays, HMIs, load cells, etc.Read and understand PLC ladder logic for troubleshooting and minor program changesIdentify and resolve maintenance concerns and issuesAssist with new product launchesEssential Skills5-7+ years of Plastic Injection Maintenance ExperienceTroubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic systemsTroubleshooting electrical systems, including sensors, limit switches, sequences machines, and 24V - 480VPreventative MaintenanceExperience diagnosing and solving machinery problemsShifts

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
