Maintenance Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** This position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing any facility equipment failures. Individuals will be involved in any construction work, fabrication work, and installation of equipment within the facility. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment failures. + Engage in construction work and fabrication within the facility. + Install new equipment as required. + Perform mechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment. + Work within an industrial maintenance setting to ensure operational efficiency. + Conduct wiring for controls and VFDs. + Read and interpret blueprints for accurate repairs and installations. + Perform electrical troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting, and handle pneumatics and hydraulics issues. + Engage in welding and motor repairs as needed. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of experience performing mechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment. + 1+ year of experience in an industrial maintenance setting. + 1+ year of experience in wiring for controls and VFDs. + 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience in electrical troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and motors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience related to pneumatics and hydraulic systems. + Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and electronic devices. + Experience troubleshooting HVAC equipment or repairing forklifts. **Why Work Here?** Our Client offers great opportunities for advancement based on skills obtained. The facility maintains a warm environment in the winter and a cool environment in the summer and is kept very clean. There are specific cleanliness protocols that must be followed daily. The work hours are 1st shift, from 6 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Thursday, and from 7 AM to 11 PM on Fridays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
