**Maintenance Technician $28-$38/hr**
**Job Description**
The Maintenance Technician II or III is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the mechanical, electrical, and control aspects of production machinery. This role requires compliance with current regulatory guidelines, national, state, and local laws, company policies, and safety requirements. Responsibilities include machine rebuilding, electrical troubleshooting and repair, mechanical troubleshooting and repair, preventative and predictive maintenance, control system troubleshooting, maintenance, and general fabrication.
**Responsibilities**
+ Answer production line calls to adjust or repair machines in a timely manner.
+ Perform machine rebuilding, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
+ Move equipment as necessary.
+ Complete general work orders and collaborate with other technicians across all shifts.
+ Continuously seek and help implement improvements to processes, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
+ Perform special projects and other related duties specific to the department as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in equipment repair with the ability to perform installation, alteration, and repair of machinery and components.
+ Knowledge of controls and ability to apply this knowledge to machine repair and troubleshooting.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and schematics.
+ Good math and reading comprehension skills.
+ Ability to read, speak, and comprehend instructions in English or the applicable language, including procedure documents.
+ Experience in a pharmaceutical, FDA, other controlled regulatory agency, or cGMP packaging or manufacturing environment is preferred.
+ Basic fabrication knowledge: TIG welding, mill, lathe, hand tools, and threading.
+ Intermediate AC/DC and 3-phase electrical understanding.
+ Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
+ Basic PLC and VFD knowledge.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Technical degree (e.g., Associate’s degree, military training, etc.)
+ Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Own transportation may be required to drive between facilities as applicable.
+ Advanced fabrication knowledge: CNC setup and operations, repair of product contact parts with TIG welding and polishing, and lathe turning preferred.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
