Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for working on fully automated Material Handling Equipment, including conveyors, sorting machines, cranes, transfer machines, palletizers, and shrink wrappers. You will use Microsoft Office to update preventive maintenance (PMs) and work orders, and document activities conducted on equipment. This role requires a strong both electrical and mechanical maintenance, repair, PLC troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, as well as the ability to read schematics to identify equipment faults.
ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repair on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Troubleshoot and repair PLCs.Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues.Read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose faults.Operate and set up equipment.Use Microsoft Office to update PMs and work orders.Document maintenance activities conducted on equipment.Work with the maintenance team consisting of 37 members.Essential SkillsElectrical and mechanical maintenance and repair on automated equipment.PLC troubleshooting.Schematic reading.Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Preventive maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsFabrication and welding experience.Parts ordering experience.Experience using manual mill and lathe.Good work attitude during training is non-negotiable.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in a team of 37 members within the Maintenance Team. The work environment includes cold storage areas with temperatures ranging from 55, 34, to -5 degrees in different parts of the facility. You will work around industrial machinery, and steel toe boots, coat, and gloves are required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $42.50/hr.
