Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for all manufacturing equipment systems on site. Your duties will include performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and unscheduled maintenance on legacy equipment systems on fluid handling lines. You will also maintain the Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) systems every morning at 4 am. Troubleshooting equipment, documenting fixtures, and making necessary modifications will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will assemble and modify tooling, fixtures, and other equipment systems using electrical and pneumatic schematics. The role requires teamwork and the ability to assist with other work orders as needed.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance (PMs) and unscheduled maintenance on legacy equipment systems.Maintain Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) systems every morning at 4 am.Troubleshoot equipment and document fixtures and other necessary notes during work orders.Assemble and modify tooling, fixtures, and other equipment systems.Use electrical and pneumatic schematics to train and understand legacy OMS equipment.Collaborate with team members and assist with other work orders when needed.Essential Skills5 years of experience in PLC troubleshooting (editing ladder logic by plugging in a laptop).2 years of experience in repairing hydraulics and pneumatics.Ability to troubleshoot PLCs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in bio pharma, medical device, or food industries.Ability to input basic information into Excel sheets.Supervisory experience, but not necessarily in a supervisory role.TMA certificate.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in and out of the cleanroom in a clean and temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. The position is for the 2nd Shift, with hours from 2:30 pm to 11 pm, Monday through Friday. Alternatively, you may work a 10-hour schedule from Tuesday to Friday, 4 am to 2:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northbrook, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hr.
