Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining production stamping presses, robotic weld machines, and other plant equipment and facilities. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The maintenance technician needs to have a strong background in diagnosing and troubleshooting stamping press repairs, as this is the primary issue currently faced. The maintenance technician will also assist with preventative maintenance, facilities, and ensure continuous production efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair production stamping presses and robotic weld machines.Diagnose and troubleshoot stamping press repairs.Perform preventative maintenance on stamping presses and other equipment.Assist with facilities maintenance to ensure efficient production operations.Set up and repair machines using hand tools and tape measures.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, including sensors, pumps, gears, and motors.Perform welding (MIG) and fabrication tasks.Assist with coil changes and feeder adjustments.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in stamping press maintenance.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with hydraulics and pneumatics.Electrical troubleshooting skills with sensors, 3-phase motors, 480V, and 240V.Experience in welding (MIG) and fabrication.Ability to perform preventative maintenance.Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PLC troubleshooting (Siemens / AB).Robot troubleshooting skills (Fanuc).Facilities maintenance experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is for the 1st shift, with hours from 7am to 3:30pm, and an early start at 6am to start up presses. Workdays are Monday through Friday, with weekends based on production needs. Currently, the workweek consists of 48-55 hours. The facility includes an older building with both stamping and robotic weld sections. Safety gear such as steel-toe shoes and safety glasses are required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Working thru new benefits package and working with the US to match the market
Starting from the ground up; would help get to make the plant what it is.
They just launched their 2nd shift; would eventually launch 3rd shift in 2025/2026
