Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to conduct routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, and assist in equipment installation. This role involves maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and improving CMMS processes. Collaboration with production and engineering teams is essential to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
ResponsibilitiesConduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the likelihood of unexpected failures.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in conformance with auditing standards.Navigate, maintain, and improve Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes.Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall efficiency.Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, control panels, and wiring, to ensure they are functioning correctly.Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the risk of electrical failures and extend equipment lifespan.Diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.Install new electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.Troubleshoot and repair 3 phase motors, AC/DC motors, control systems, PLCs, and VFDs.Essential SkillsTroubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Electrical Troubleshooting - 480v.Mechanical Troubleshooting - Pneumatics.PLC troubleshooting with/without laptop.Repair of gear boxes, bearings, and chain-driven conveyors.Low voltage 24v.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in industrial maintenance.Ability to work with 3 phase motors - 480v.Experience with AC/DC motors and VFDs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in an automotive manufacturing environment. Tools are provided, and a fit test is conducted annually. The schedule is from 6:30pm to 7:00am, with a rotation of 3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, and 4 days off. Night shift differential is $2/hr.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $87360.00/yr.
