Maintenance Technician

**Maintenance Technician-Oceanside, CA**
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform routine maintenance and repair of sprockets, pumps, and all related equipment associated with bearings, shafts, chains, conveyors, and belts.
+ Perform routine maintenance and repair associated with Hyperbaric HPP equipment.
+ Perform routine maintenance and repair associated with steam, pneumatic, water, hydraulic, and other related piping equipment.
+ Use and interpret schematics and blueprints related to mechanical and electrical equipment within the facility.
+ Perform Preventive Maintenance on equipment and resolve identified issues/problems.
+ Observe situations, correctly diagnose problems, and implement corrective actions with little or no supervision.
+ Demonstrate working knowledge of lock out tag out, and confined space entry.
+ Assist in maintaining accurate up-to-date maintenance database records.
+ Engage in ongoing personal development, including staying up-to-date on current maintenance techniques.
+ Participate in Safety and housekeeping programs.
+ Perform other duties as directed by the Plant Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Process Engineer, and Level A Technician.
**Essential Skills**
+ Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
+ Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
+ Experience with preventive maintenance.
+ Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance.
+ Experience in a regulated food and beverage environment.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
+ Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures and confined space entry.
+ Experience in a food or beverage regulated environment is ideal.
+ Must be flexible for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
