**Job Title: Maintenance Technician Apprentice** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLC troubleshooting, electrical knowledge, and motor controls. This role involves 90% reactive maintenance and 10% preventive maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Perform PLC troubleshooting + Handle 480V electrical systems + Maintain and repair motor controls + Conduct reactive maintenance tasks + Perform preventive maintenance as needed + Work with hydraulics and pneumatics systems + Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, motors, and 3-phase electrical systems + Remove and install large bearings + Maintain and repair heaters, SSR, and PLC systems **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting + Experience with 480V electrical systems + Knowledge of motor controls + Ability to work with AC/DC and 3-phase motors + Understanding of schematics, hydraulics, and pneumatics **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Tech school degree preferred + Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience + Experience in large bearing removal and installation + Familiarity with Siemens and Profibus **Why Work Here?** Join a growing international plastic extrusion manufacturer with a supportive and dynamic work culture. The facility is a 450-person, 3-site plastic production plant. The dress code is jeans or khakis and a polo shirt. The shift schedule follows a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off pattern. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kutztown, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
