Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Automation (Fanuc / AB) ( LOCATED IN CRESTLINE, OH) $50/hr+

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance department. This is a long-term contract position through Aerotek, extending until December 2026. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs and Fanuc Robotics to ensure smooth operations and facilitate the eventual shutdown of the location.

ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance on Allen Bradley PLCs and Fanuc Robotics.Upgrade, troubleshoot, and conduct high-level diagnostics on automation systems.Conduct manufacturing maintenance, including electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic/pneumatic repair, and preventative and reactive maintenance.Work with photo eye sensors, servo systems, and HMIs.Collaborate with team members to ensure continuous operation of production lines.Essential SkillsExperience with Allen Bradley PLCs and Fanuc Robotics.Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Proficiency in preventative and reactive maintenance.Experience with photo eye sensors, servo systems, and HMIs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in manufacturing maintenance.Skills in welding and fabricating.Advanced electrical skills.Robotic troubleshooting experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is based in a large glass manufacturing facility, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The facility currently has 390 full-time employees, with the maintenance department downsized to 20 technicians. The shift schedule is from 7 PM to 7 AM, following a 2-2-3 pattern with every other weekend off, and includes 10-15 hours of overtime.
