**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on all food production plant equipment. This includes working with case packers, processing machines, blenders, grinders, scales, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes. You will be part of either the Canning or Packaging Maintenance Departments, handling machinery such as casers, sifters, dumpers, and boilers. This role requires mostly mechanical experience and a willingness to get hands-on and troubleshoot issues. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on food production plant equipment. + Repair and troubleshoot case packers, processing machines, blenders, grinders, scales, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes. + Work within the Canning and Packaging Maintenance Departments. + Handle machinery such as casers, sifters, dumpers, and boilers. + Test voltages, wire motors, and use a multimeter. + Conduct minor welding and fabrication as needed. + Perform basic facilities maintenance such as plumbing, fixing lighting, and changing light bulbs. + Handle minimal electrical responsibilities. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of industrial maintenance experience maintaining food production equipment. + Mechanical troubleshooting skills. + Experience with repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance. + Ability to test voltages and wire motors. + Basic welding and fabrication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Open to new graduate candidates or with 1 year of industrial maintenance experience. + Vocational mechanics and candidates with demanding field experience, such as farming, are encouraged to apply. **Why Work Here?** We offer direct hire positions with strong benefits and insurance.
