**Direct Hire Maintenance Technician | 3rd Shift | 31.32/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing extruder machines, mills, and automated equipment. You will also follow a preventative maintenance schedule, perform building maintenance, and work with high voltage systems. This role requires the ability to read schematics and lift up to 50 lbs. Basic hand tools are required, and PLC experience is a plus. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair extruder machines, mills, and automated equipment + Follow preventative maintenance schedule to perform PMs + Repair boilers in the compounding department + Perform light building maintenance as needed + Read schematics to troubleshoot and repair breakdowns + Work with electrical systems ranging from 120V to 480V + Lift up to 50 lbs as needed + Use basic hand tools and supplied larger tools + Collaborate with team members for troubleshooting and PMs **Qualifications** + At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience + Electrical maintenance experience with 120-480V and 3-phase systems + Troubleshooting skills + Ability to read schematics + High school diploma or GED + Own basic hand tools + HVAC or boiler experience + Experience with mills and extruders + Mig welding skills **Why Work Here?** Join a stable union job with opportunities for growth and advancement. You will train on the first shift (6:00am-4:00pm) for the first 90 days. The work environment includes two buildings, with the newest one being well lit. It can be hot in the summer and chilly in the winter. The facility includes fans and open airflow. Expect an industrial manufacturing environment with potential odors from rubber extrusion.
