We are looking for Maintenance Technician Electrical/Automation​ to join our Mercury Plant in Dudelange.

Be part of an innovative, highly automated tire production plant in collaboration with a diverse, international team Work with the latest technology in a digitalized environment Develop your skills on preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, including mechanical, electrical maintenance and maintenance of industrial automation systems (PLCs) Seek and implement new ideas to drive safety, quality, reliability and productivity

 

Position Overview:

 

Work schedule in 3 shifts from Monday to Sunday, American team. ​ Willing to work during holidays, Christmas shutdown to perform maintenance activities.

 

Responsibilities:

Drive and direct maintenance (RE) / machine activities to reduce breakdowns and increase equipment availability.
Respond to equipment failures, diagnose breakdown problems, manage emergencies, unforeseen problems and repairs.
Support and develop the preventive maintenance process, planning, execution of activities, work order, CMMS.
Spare parts support - ensure proper inventory management and availability of spare parts for the machine under your responsibility.
Promote safety culture in the pillars of reliability.
Ensure and support the machine upgrade required by engineering.
Execute improvement projects.
Achieve plant key performance indicators: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost.

 

Requirements:

Technical skills in automation, PLC programming, electricity, electrical engineering, robotics, energy Good foundations in mechanics; hydraulics, pneumatics. Production experience: ability to work in a team in an industrial environment. Ready to work in the field, ability to work with process and maintenance teams to execute projects and make improvements. Good level of English and French or German required. Any other European language is considered a strong asset.
