**The Opportunity**
The manufacturing technician position supports the development and implementation of optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls; supports the activities related to instalation and validation of production lines as well as the lifecycle managment of equipments.
In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
**What You’ll Do**
• Supports daily operation and attends daily meetings to review tasks and priorities of the day. Inform all the relevant activities that occurred during shift.
• Performs corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance to the equipment assigned and supports other activities, such as spare parts control, equipment installation, support other jobs / disciplines, projects, validations, etc.
• Follows and complies with all procedures and protocols developed to perform the work safely, with quality and cost effectively.
• Interact with our internal clients on the scope of proper accomplishment of maintenance and customer needs.
**Required Qualifications**
Technical High School, Diploma or Technical degree, 9th grade Degree required, electronic, electrical, electromechanical, mechanical.
0-3 years of working experience on similar roles.
Proficiency in computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
Basis English level / Required
