Linde Gas Equipment Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance of mechanical equipment mechanical systems in the Plant.

What you will be doing:

Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and mechanical systemsInstalls and modifies mechanical equipment mechanical systemsTroubleshoots, repairs and maintains mechanical equipment mechanical systemsIdentifies malfunction of equipment/systemsDisassembly of equipmentRepairs/Replaces structural components Uses a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignmentsSupports Production staff through effective and timely assistance and repairsAccomplishes all work in orders to maintain safety, reduce downtime, improve quality production and improve plant efficiencyEnsures all equipment documentation is complete and properly processedMaintains and updates control documentsReviews and completes Management of Change (MOC) documentationPlans, leads and executes small projects (including cost reduction and six sigma)Safely handles hazardous chemicals and wastes according to requisite policies and regulations.

High School Diploma/GED required, Associates Degree in related field preferred3 years Maintenance/Repair experience (non-automotive) or related chemical industry experience.Experience working in a plant/production environment preferredAbility to read PID’s, understands plant systems and is able to troubleshoot system problemsKnowledge of electrical troubleshooting and electrical schematics a plusKnowledge of plant policies to include LOTO and HWP’s Willing to work overtime, Saturdays and off shift work when it’s needed for projects
