Responsibilities

Be able to operate all equipment and machinery. Perform maintenance on all equipment and machinery Operate lift trucks and lift devices Checking mechanics of lift truck Grinding any materials with electric grinder Keep machines cleaned Keep machines with guards and covers in place Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision Follow all established standard operating procedures Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary Perform other tasks assigned by management

 

Knoweldge/Experience

Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred OSHA rules and regulations familiarity Lock out/Tag out LTO experience Twister, Heatset operating experience preferred

 

Requirements

Able to provide own tools Proficient at troubleshooting pneumatic, mechanical and other systems Able to communicate with operators and management Basic computer skills Mechanically inclined Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects such as boxes, pallets, motors, pumps, etc. Work at heights like ladders, lift devices, etc. Working around fans Mounting and dismounting forklifts Use electrical tools Work in high-density noise areas Ability to work in tight spaces Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and twist without restrictions. Able to push buggies full of yarn or tubes Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Constantly bend, crouch, and stoop throughout the shift Work in an environment that is noisy, non-climate-controlled facilities, and high traffic production floor
