Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical,electrical) | Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield | Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures
Major Position Responsibilities· Performs preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.
· Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness.
· Performs equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance.
· Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems.
· Logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system.
· Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains quality standards
Basic QualificationsRequired Education: Vocational/Technical Degree or Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience
Preferred Education: Vocational/Technical Degree
Years and Area of Expertise: 2-4 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Problem-solving skills. Technical expertise. Automation. Calibration. Equipment maintenance. Failure analysis. Manufacturing support. Mechanical Troubleshooting. Numerical control. Production support Refurbishment. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Equipment repairs. Mechanical maintenance. Equipment monitoring.
