**Job Description:**
**$2,500 SIGN-ON / RETENTION BONUS! $250 paid at hire, $500 paid at 3/6/9 months, $750 paid after one year of employment.**
**1st shift hours are M-F 6:00am to 4:30pm.** **Compensation based on qualifications.**
The Level 2 Maintenance Technician works independently, with engineering and other maintenance/plant personnel to perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks. The technician will troubleshoot equipment issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks are performed while supporting the safety policies, financial goals, and objectives of the company.
**Essential Duties**
+ Repairs and maintains plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, coating equipment, slitters, compressed air systems, pumps and facilities equipment/infrastructure
+ Provides general preventative maintenance of HVAC systems equipment (non-coolant applications)
+ Provides general electrical repair/maintenance and installation electronic controls/equipment
+ Performs electrical shutdown/startup of low to medium voltage equipment
+ Performs preventative maintenance, inspections, and adjustments on all production and facilities equipment
+ Participates in plant safety and continuous improvement programs
+ Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed
+ Purchasing of replacement and repair parts to rebuild/repair equipment in a timely manner within budgetary constraints.
**Qualifications**

+ High school diploma or GED. Post-secondary education in HVAC, electronics or industrial mechanics preferred.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment working with hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics troubleshooting and repair. Experience in the converting or printing industries a plus.
+ Ability to utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the installation, repair, modification and maintenance of equipment
+ The physical requirements include frequent standing/walking, bending/squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, use of upper extremities to handle/manipulate/lift/carry/reach, visual acuity, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; occasional pushing/pulling, climbing, and overhead work.
