Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and facility. Activities include both planned and predictive maintenance and breakdown repair.

Your schedule will be working 3rd Shift, 11:00pm - 7:00am.

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

Maintenance and Repair:

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including electrical systems, robots, and secondary equipment.This includes tasks like cleaning/lubricating machinery, mold changes, machine setups, and repairing/replacing gauges, valves, and regulators.Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Documentation and Communication:

Document all repairs and work daily.Disseminate information at shift change, reporting problems to Team Leader/Maintenance Supervisor.

Other Responsibilities:

Responsible for the care and maintenance of molding equipment.Back up to Process Technician in shut down and start up of machines.Observe safety guidelines and keep work area clean and organized.

Essential physical requirements for work: 

Movement: May require the ability to stand/walk for up to 80% of your shift, with frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and squatting 50% of the time

Lifting: May require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds for up to 50% of your shift.

Environment: May require being comfortable working in an environment with varying temperature and humidity. 

Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred.Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred, but not required.Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, coupled with an eagerness to learn and develop skills in electrical and pneumatic systems.Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders across different levels of the organization.Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participating work system in a safe and timely manner.
