\n \n Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance duties of Associations involving mostlyexterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and minor roofing repairs in addition toother exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safelymaintained.

\n

Work hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7am-3pm

\n

Pay rate:$25-$27 an hour

\n

\n

Daily responsibilities:

\n

\n\nPerform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently andthat the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.\nPerform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs toensure that the building is properly maintained.\nClean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors,gutters and drains.\nOperate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.\nMaintain company issued vehicle (routine PM’s, oil changes etc.), if applicable.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required.\n3 -- 5 years of directly related or closely related experience.\nExcellent communication skills (spoken and written, follow-up skills, and customer service skills are required.\nAbility to review work order tickets, prioritize tasks, manage time well, and interpret and complete verbal and written instructions.\nOn time, reliable, dependable, self-motivated, proactive, and takes the initiative.\nKnowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting,regulations, etc.)\nKnowledge of electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation,safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.) andOSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.\nMay be required to provide own basic tools (power drill, power saw, screwdrivers, level,hammer, etc.)\n\n
