The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance duties of Associations involving mostlyexterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and minor roofing repairs in addition toother exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safelymaintained.

\n\nThurs, Fri & Sat 7:30am - 4:00pm\n\n

OR

\n\nWed, Thurs, Fri & Sat 10:00am - 4:00pm\n\n

Daily responsibilities:

\n

\n\nPerform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently andthat the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.\nPerform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs toensure that the building is properly maintained.\nClean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors,gutters and drains.\nOperate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.\nMaintain company issued vehicle (routine PM’s, oil changes etc.).\nOther duties as assigned.\n$18 an hour.\n\n Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED Required.\n3 -- 5 years of light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, paint & plaster experience.\nStrong customer service skills.\nExcellent communication skills, spoken and written.\nInterpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level.\nTime management and time critical prioritization skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.\nMay be required to provide own basic tools (power drill, power saw, screwdrivers, level,hammer, etc.).\n\n
