**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of systems and equipment in a 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role involves performing general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and minor electrical and plumbing work, to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Handle various maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and minor electrical and plumbing work to keep the facility in good condition.
+ Provide hands-on support fixing issues related to various building systems and equipment. This includes: lighting, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, doors, windows, floorings, & walls.
+ Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
+ Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
+ Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
+ Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
+ Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
+ Performs other duties as assigned
**What You’ll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
