Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnose and repair various equipment such as production, testing equipment, conveyors, press equipment hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systemsFabricating, welding, torching Rebuild tools, gearboxes, spindlesRead and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical diagramsRead and interpret measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipersOperate powered industrial trucksOperate man liftsOperate overhead cranes and portable cranesFamiliar with PLC functions and basic troubleshooting Work with team members to correct quality problems as well as continuous improvement projectsComplies with the OSHA Safety Standards: Hazard Communication; Lockout; Permit Required Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and ErgonomicsOther duties as assigned by manager

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Able to follow and execute written work instructionsWork with high degree of accuracyTo continuously be engaged with surroundings and aware of proper equipment operations High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years experience in a Maintenance Tech role in a manufacturing plantRegular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this roleLead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
