Maintenance Technician (Ponder)

Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Technician II or III in Ponder, TX.

\r\n\r\n

As a Maintenance Technician II or III, you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRoutinely inspect equipment\r\n\t\r\n\t\tEvaluate the integrity of equipment and determine potential equipment failures and report concerns to the maintenance lead and/or supervisor.\r\n\t\tIdentify equipment issues that are an employee and/or a food safety hazard.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tPerform maintenance duties\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMaintain, operate, and diagnose process equipment.\r\n\t\tFabricate various items as needed for process equipment.\r\n\t\tEvaluate and contribute to the management of the parts inventory level.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tOperate equipment\r\n\t\r\n\t\tNecessary to verify proper pre-operational maintenance tasks.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\tMaintain all required maintenance & company records and documents\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh school education or a minimum of 2 years related experience or training\r\n\tMinimum of 5 years of direct or related maintenance experience\r\n\tAbility to properly size a motor for an application\r\n\tUnderstanding of maintenance tasks\r\n\tGood attendance and flexibility to work overtime including weekends\r\n\r\n\r\n

Salary: $65,000 - $74,000 per year

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

\r\n\r\n
