Maintenance Technician- Purified Water Systems Job ID 203501 Posted 27-Jan-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Engineering/Maintenance Location(s) Zebulon - North Carolina - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Maintenance Technician Purified Water Systems, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and sanitization of purified water systems. Conducts daily monitoring and logs for water pretreatment systems, including flushing, sample, testing portable water filtration equipment. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skill. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. + Performs other duties as assigned. + Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. + Practical knowledge and use of hand tools + Comprehension of standard operating procedures for maintenance and sanitization of pretreatment, Reverse Osmosis, and Electro-deionization (EDI) equipment + Practical knowledge of purified water quality analyzers, including Conductivity/Resistivity, and Total Organic Carbon (TOC). + Fundamental knowledge in use of process calibrators for source and measurement of voltage, current, and resistance values, and certified test solutions. + Performs calibration of instrumentation for purified water system, using measurement and test equipment and reference standards. + Performs routine use-point flush and sanitization + Perform routine Ozone sanitization of purified water systems through computerized operator interface + Practical experience with water sampling and testing technique. + Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety. **What You’ll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. + Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
