SIS is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lubbock, TX.

Summary: 

Performs preventive maintenance and repairs of all facility, operational, and portable equipment, as defined by Superior Inspection Services.  Working hours will vary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains a safe & productive workplace Troubleshoots and/or repairs facility, operational and portable equipment as defined by the Company Completes necessary documentation associated with the equipment maintenance program processes Proposes recommendations to improve the equipment maintenance program processes

Education

High School diploma, GED

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Ability to set up a safe and productive work flow General knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems Operates forklift and overhead crane

BEHAVIORAL SKILLS

Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisor, and managers Ability to work independently with occasional supervision
