Maintenance Technician (Swing)

The Maintenance Technician is the owner of preventative maintenance, unplanned maintenance, validation and calibration of production equipment. The core function of the position is to ensure all of our equipment functions to the expected capability over its entire useful life.

Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive maintenance of the production and facility equipment.
+ Effectively communicate with Production Leadership and schedule downtime for Maintenance.
+ Lead unplanned equipment maintenance to reinstate equipment into service.
+ Support moving, installing and commissioning equipment.
+ Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality and external equipment suppliers.
+ Maintain preventative maintenance and calibration records with a high attention to detail.
+ Support audits from internal teams, customers and regulators.
+ Train operators/technicians on basic equipment operation and preventive maintenance.
+ Create and maintain preventive maintenance schedule and procedures.
+ Assist in maintenance strategy planning for new equipment and maintain spares inventory.
+ Ensure processes and equipment procedures are updated, developed, and documented appropriately.
+ Support fabrication of custom equipment, tooling and fixtures for production and facility.
+ Perform other duties as required.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
+ High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
+ Proficiency in computer and software systems.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Flexibility and adaptiveness to changing priorities, with excellent communication skills, written and oral.
+ Must be physically capable of standing/walking for an entire shift and lift to 50 pounds.
+ Must be physically capable of supporting equipment maintenance that requires occasionally bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, squatting, etc.
+ Must be able to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for possible work handling hazardous materials.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Associate’s degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
+ Demonstrated experience operating in and maintaining safe working conditions, including intimate knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols.
+ General Supervising Electrician (S), Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician (PJ) or Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME/LBME) License.
+ Other technical certifications highly encouraged, ie OSHA 30, CMRT, IND, CETa, CCST - ISA, etc.
+ Practical experience maintaining electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
+ Ability to interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot/debug circuits.
+ Ability to interpret mechanical drawings to support the build or rebuild of mechanical systems.
+ Experience with rigging, lifting, moving and
+ Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and/or AS9100 with working knowledge of applicable regulations and codes.
+ Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
+ Working knowledge of typical electronics assembly equipment; stencil printers, pick & place machines, wave solder machines, selective solder machines, inline wash machines, reflow ovens, adhesive dispense/spray, xray systems, and automated optical inspection machines.
+ Experience operating forklifts.
