Maintenance Technician - Woodbury Health Care Center

Woodbury Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.

Woodbury Health Care Center is home to seniors requiring TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care and Long-Term Care. We are in Woodbury, right next door to Woodbury High School. We have been helping seniors Age Magnificently since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting seniors.

Schedule Available: FT days (8:00-4:30), on call rotation for nights and weekends.
Wage: $24-$28/hour

In this position you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment. Duties include:

Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment. Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy. Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation. Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation. Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services. Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.

 Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in health care is preferred. Boiler's License preferred, not required.
