Maintenance Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will oversee maintenance supplies, requisitions, and purchase orders and maintenance work order software are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. This is a key position in the maintenance team at our Pinetops facility. You will lead by example, following all established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, records, and dispatch goods in the warehouse to ensure seamless receipt and dispatch of goods.This is position is on-site based in Pinetops, NC. This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tOverseeing the maintenance tool room operations (including Planning, ordering, sorting, picking, loading, adjusting and assisting in scheduling, completing work orders for team)•\tMaintaining complete and accurate data in the iMaint software and SAP systems•\tInspecting quality of incoming goods before storage, to ensure all parts are not damaged and counts are correct. •\tEnsuring daily contact with suppliers and manager to prepare for expected deliveries and ensure required equipment and parts are on hand. Participating in regular inventory control processes and review of spare, critical, consumable supplies, and parts.
Qualifications for the roleHS Diploma required.Must have 2 years’ experience in inventory management Demonstrated experience with writing requisitions and a good understanding of how an inventory system functionKnowledge of SAP systems required. Knowledge with maintenance software for inventory, parts, safety stock limits, on-hand parts, and work order completion. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
